Coffee: More than a Morning Pick-Me-Up

I don't know about you, but with the weather getting colder and the days getting shorter, I am definitely feeling the need for a bit more 'joe in my life! And with the brewing of more there are of course more grounds, too. Here are a few of my favorite fun ways to reuse those spent coffee grounds...

1. PAMPER ~ Exfoliator ~ Mix 1/2 cup grounds with 1/4 cup olive or coconut oil and a pinch of citrus zest. Smells luxurious and your skin will look and feel great!

2. FRESHENFridge Deodorizer~ Use instead of baking soda in your fridge. It will absorb odors and give you a whiff of that wonderful coffee scent every time you open the refrigerator.

And just in time for Thanksgiving...

3. SCRUB ~ Pot & Pan Scrub ~ Use those grounds to scrub away any stuck on bits from your Turkey dinner! Be careful if using on anything white or light colored as the grounds may stain.

4. SCRUB II ~ Hand Scrub ~ Rub a small scoop of grounds on your hands and exfoliate while eliminating the scent of garlic, fish or onion.

Who knew?!?
