INTERMISSION™: It's Okay to Not Know
A short, sweet and incredibly profound message this morning from Journey to the Heart by Melodie Beattie.
One line in particular really stood out. So much so that I read it twice!
"Sometimes the process of learning to trust, the process of going through an experience and coming to trust that we will ultimately discover our own truth, is more important than knowing." Whoa.
Discovering your own truth is one of the most powerful yet peaceful human experiences.
We learn from one another. Xo
INTERMISSION™: Monday Message & Week 11 Journal Pages
Creative and foundational energy this week... Are you ready??? Pulled cards from #WisdomoftheOracle and #CrystalSpirits decks by @colettebaron_reid! - NEW LIFE -
Like just waking from a nap or coming out of our shell, we're stretching a bit but can't yet totally see where we're going. We know it's someplace new but aren't exactly sure what it looks like or how to get there yet we know we are Divinely supported and guided. - BRONZITE -
Reminds us that we are indeed Divinely guided and supported and that we can trust ourselves in the process as well to know who we can trust to support us in the physical world because we are ultimately supported by a higher power.
Pretty powerful, optimistic and feel good start to the week!
We can create our own reality and change the world around us. Change begins with you. ❤️ And if you wanna learn and change and grow, start with a mini inner world chat thru journaling. Week 11 Journal Pages can be found on my blog at KarmicKindness.com.
We learn from one another. Xo
Please share ;)
INTERMISSION™: Compassionate Expression
While I didn't completely agree at the time, I decided to pay closer attention to the words I chose and how those words came out of my mouth.
I even went so far as to record myself so I could hear whet the other person was hearing.
And dang, if they weren't right (sometimes)! 🕵️♀️ I'm now able to 'hear' myself in the moment better and often recognize when Witchy Amalia is in the house. And when I do, I immediately apologize and clarify what was intended.
I feel better and the other person feels better.
Other times, it's not even about what we said or how we said it, it's based more on the other person's wounds. Those places deep inside of them that have been hurt, abandoned or rejected. They feel like they're not enough and go straight into their pain.
💥 What was in the reality of the moment a seemingly small thing turns into an explosive reaction because all the pain and hurt from likely a lifetime has now come roaring to the surface.
If you're able to recognize what may have been said or how it was received by the other person and put yourself in their position, perhaps you'll find a bit of compassion there for you and them and be from there find a path to peace... And who knows, maybe even add a brick to the foundation of an even more solid relationship.
We learn from one another. Xo
INTERMISSION™: The Beauty & Magic of a Single Flower
A flower that sits on a table in my home.
It was a gift from someone special so it holds even more meaning.
This single flower holds the magic and majesty of nature.🏵️ If you think about it, what did it take for that flower to grow?
Who planted the seed?
Who fed and watered it?
How many hours of sunlight were required for it to sprout, to grow, to bloom? 🌱
How many hands touched it before it made its way to me?
It's pretty profound to think of all the flowers that grow and do their thing without worry or anxiety or fear they're doing something wrong.
They know to grow and bloom.
We have the same ability. To surrender into who we're meant to be.
As Eckhart Tolle says in his book The Power of Now, "to relinquish inner resistance to what is."
And in The New Earth, to "appreciate something simple - a sight, a sound, a touch - when you see beauty, when you feel loving kindness toward another, sense the inner spaciousness that is the source and the background to that experience." then being is bliss.
Doesn't that feel easier?
Isn't that simpler?
We make it harder than it needs to be.
Look at a flower and take in its beauty, complexity and magic while feeling how easy it is to be exactly what you're meant to be when you surrender to what it, to who you are and allow life to unfold as it's meant to be.
(if even for a few minutes a day 😊)! Let me know what you think about the nature of flowers... We learn from one another. Xo
INTERMISSION™: Embrace the High & Low
Past couple days have been spent talking about low vibe emotions like blame, shame, fear and worry.
🥺 We don't like those.
We run from those. 🏃
📺 We look for an escape route like Netflix, alcohol or drugs.
They are uncomfortable and create an imbalance within us.
⚛️ Let's play the WHAT IF Game.... What if we thought of them as a little nudge from a friend reminding us there's a part of us that needs some attention?
What if these emotions are showing up to guide us to a beautiful golden path that we would have otherwise missed if we were skipping along the well worn one?
What if leaned into the feelings of unease to learn why the feelings are there and radically accept them?
Who knows...we may learn something new about ourselves which allows us to make a different choice ultimately supporting our growth and evolution.
That sounds pretty amazing to me.
What do you think? 🏵️
What if during those times of stress and anxiety, we pause.
Take a deep breath. Maybe a few.
Recall a #F*ckYeahDay and really feel it...like you're right back there! (Big smile at the ready!)
And say either to yourself or out loud: I radically accept where I am right now.
Say it three times to really lock it in. And do this as often as needed in the day without judgment.
You'll be amazed how the energy will shift and things will unfold.
We learn from one another....
INTERMISSION™: Taking 100% Responsibility
This may be a tough one for some of you...
Particularly if you're in a relationship whether it's romantic, friendly or professional where you feel someone is taking advantage of you or you're looking to him/her to give you a sense of peace or wholeness or security.
Most of us think of relationships as 50/50 propositions.
But Gay Hendricks says otherwise in his book The Big Leap.
You are 💯% responsible and they are 💯% responsible.
You might ask..."How the 'f' does that work because that adds up to 200%?" Well, that's because it's not about them.
It's about you.
You knowing that you have all you need within you already. That no person can "make" you feel whole or in some cases inadequate or secure.
It's knowing that you are perfect in your imperfection and are 100% okay with that.
That doesn't mean you don't take responsibility for your words or actions. It means that you don't NEED another person to say or do anything to create a feeling of peace within you.
Because you always have it. It's always there.
You simply need to access it.
And you access it by getting radically honest with yourself and then radically accepting yourself.
From this place you access that peaceful place withing and can take action that's in alignment with who you truly are and what you truly desire for yourself.
Would love to hear about a time in your life when you were radically honest and what you learned.
Remember we learn from one another.

INTERMISSION™: Communication & the Art of Time
Week 5 INTERMISSION™ Journal bundle is hot of the presses with a focus on
#Communication... How we both express ourselves and how we listen.
It's a biggie and one that I hope you check out.
Having an awareness around how we may be unable to express ourselves clearly or how we may not feel safe enough to do so creates an opportunity for growth and change that can only benefit us and those around us.
As a fun way to start the week, I chose a card for the week from @colettebaron_reid Wisdom of the Oracle deck (my favorite!). The card for the week:
According to the guidebook,
Essential Meanings: Timelessness; Divine Timing; immeasurable time
My interpretation flows with my video message from yesterday... Foster patience as it all unfolds in Divine timing. That all is perfect in the moment whether we like the moment or not.
What is truly ours will not go past us.
There is so much happening beyond what we see... so have some peace in the knowledge that when the time is right all will unfold beautifully.
We learn from one another 💕
Let me know how your week unfolds! Can't wait to hear all about the beauty!
