đź’« REVELATION đź’«

According to Google, revelation is defined as:

a surprising and previously unknown fact, especially one that is made known in a dramatic way.

the divine or supernatural disclosure to humans of something relating to human existence or the world.

Have you ever had a an a-ha moment or revelation where something previously unknown to you presents itself and changes the way you perceive something forever?

It can be a big or small revelation.

A few years ago I was going through a period when I felt like my world was crumbling around me. It felt like all I knew before was no more and I wasn’t sure which way was up and which way was down. I was topsy-turvy.

I knew I couldn’t continue this way and needed some help. I’d talked to friends and a counselor to no avail.

I’m not a particularly religious person even though I was raised Catholic but did believe in a Higher Power. I didn’t have an affinity or real connection to angels. I didn’t really talk to God.

But on this day, I recall asking for help. Not to anyone in particular but to the Universe in general…to anyone who would listen.

It was the middle of the night. I was lying in bed alone and couldn’t sleep but had my eyes closed. I opened them for a moment and saw a light.

This made no sense because there was no light source that I could see.

I had a little conversation in my head about what it could be and shrugged it off.

The next day while lying on the beach on a very cloudy, I had my head in my arms and saw the light again!

I quickly lifted my head searching for the source of the light. I thought it was the sun, but the sun was well hidden behind dark gray clouds and the light I was seeing in the darkness of my arms was bright like the sun.

Now I was curious so I looked online to find out what seeing lights meant.

I was astounded to discover that it meant angels are present.

But I still wasn’t convinced until that night.

Again, lying in bed alone in the dark awake in the middle of the night, the light appeared again. This time I knew something more was going on. I understood that I had the support I asked for and literally said out loud, “Message received.”

In that moment, the light disappeared.

There were several more times when the light would appear and only disappear after I understood the message and responded with the words message received.

This was a spiritual experience as well as a revelation.

The revelation was that there are angels and forces beyond my mental understanding that are here to help and guide me (and you)…and all you have to do is ask.

Granted this was a BIG revelation, but revelations come in all shapes and sizes. Some feel really good and some not so good but offer information for us to make changes going forward which feels good in the long run.

We learn from one another.
